History
For those who would like to know a bit more about the history of the place...
Our ancestor used to live here in the19th century; he was a blacksmith, which is called " lou
Haou" in Gascon (the local dialect).
The little house was his forge; it was renovated in the 70's and has been a tourist's summer
holiday house since then.
The other house was used as a sheepfold and was renovated in 1991.
After being our holiday house and our permanent home up until the end of July 2006, it's now let
to tourists.
As for us, we've moved to the more spacious first-to-be dwelling in the center of the
property.
This is a family-clan sort of place but we enjoy having people stay and share with them the
special atmosphere of this unique spot.
